Dr. Jessica ParkersonShe grew up in the Houston area, and graduated from Humble High School in 1996. She has fond childhood memories of bottle-feeding some of her grandfather’s calves on the family’s farm in Louisiana, and she has never known a time when she did not intend to become a veterinarian. After graduating from Texas A&M with a BS in Biomedical Science, Dr. Parkerson earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in January 2004. She currently enjoys practice in primary care and surgery for young and old cats and dogs. When not at the office, Dr. Parkerson loves spending time with her family. She and her husband have 2 boys, one cat and a dog. They are frequently found at the Houston Zoo or visiting friends and family. When Dr. Parkerson is not at the office, she is still working. Last year she accumulated over 100 Board-approved continuing education hours! Her days and nights are dedicated to her family, her patients, their owners and her staff. As much as she sincerely appreciates her relationships, she might take a break to ski every now and then.

Her favorite moments each day are meeting new puppies and kittens, and assisting in surgery. Outside of work, Gabbi enjoys catching 80’s and 90’s movies while she snuggles with her two cats and long-legged Chihuahua.

RoseanneFor over twenty-two years Roseanne has been making friends and looking after pets Tanglewilde’s front desk. She appreciates the opportunities to help every person feel as comfortable and cared for as possible. Roseanne’s heart for pets is as sweet as she is to our Tanglewilde visitors, too. She has had rescued Afghan hounds and parrots in the past, but these days she and her husband are enjoying the company of their two energetic cats. When Roseanne is not helping out at the clinic, she and her husband enjoy visiting with friends and family, reading, traveling and gardening.
Lee EddingtonLee (also known as Santa Lee) has been a key staff member at Tanglewilde for over ten years, recently retiring from managing the kennels in order to concentrate on inventory control and data analytics. Lee enjoys his work most because of all the 4 legged friends he has made over the years. Lee says, “It’s really neat when a dog or cat comes in and seems to recognize me. And, of course, I have my favorites.” Lee and his wife got their first cat a week after they were married, and since then, have never been without at least 2 pets. They currently share their home with three cats; the oldes is about 20 years old! When he isn’t caring for our friends here at Tanglewilde Veterinary Clinic, Lee likes spending time with his 4 grandkids and planning for his next adventure.
Mike is one of our most experienced technical staff members, having been a veterinary assistant for over sixteen years. Mike’s family consists of one cat and three human children. When he is not working or spending time with his family, Mike’s hobbies include training, teaching and competing in jiu jitsu and camping. He also is a NASM Certified Trainer and auto enthusiast. For over twenty-seven years, Peggy has been an integral member of Tanglewilde Veterinary Clinic’s client services team. Although she likes to think she retired, Peggy still helps with a few of the client services we offer. It may come as a surprise, but Peggy has at least forty years of veterinary reception experience! She loves helping owners provide excellent care for their pets, and she understands the joys and surprises of being a pet owner. Peggy is also a Great Dane fancier. She began exhibiting and breeding her dogs in 1968, and has “finished” over 15 Danes herself. At this time, her family includes husband Mike, also known as the Head of Kennel, one big, domestic short hair kitty and four Danes.
Christine has been a part of the Tanglewilde team since October 2015. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute of Houston in Fall of 2015. Whether it’s the well-being of the patients or the happiness of the clients, Christine’s number one priority is making sure everyone’s needs are met with satisfaction. She has 6 dogs and 2 cats of her own. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending her free time playing video games and drawing.
Taylor joined our team in the summer of 2017. His love for the veterinary field comes from his grandparents who always taught him what it means to love and respect all animals, and he hopes to become a veterinarian one day. During his free time, he studies, cooks, and watches TV. Taylor’s animals at home include his 3 cats, 3 fire belly toads, 2 African dwarf frogs, 2 snakes, and a crested gecko. His upbeat attitude and enthusiasm stem from his ability to make his patients feel as comfortable and happy as can be!
Cindy has been an integral part of our team at Tanglewilde Veterinary Clinic for over two years. She started off as a kennel technician and found her passion for veterinary medicine. Soon thereafter, she graduated from PIMA Medical Institute as a Veterinary Assistant in the Fall of 2016. Cindy’s goal in this field is to create the most pleasant experience possible for all of the animals she cares for. When she is not at work, Cindy enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Minnie and Bella, as well as her newborn baby boy, Aaron.
