Veterinarians
Dr. Jessica Parkerson
Veterinarian
Jessica Parkerson is a full-time veterinarian and owner of Tanglewilde Veterinary Clinic.
Dr. Parkerson grew up in the Houston area and graduated from Humble High School in 1996. She has fond childhood memories of bottle-feeding some of her grandfather’s calves on the family’s farm in Louisiana, and she has never known a time when she did not intend to become a veterinarian. After graduating from Texas A&M with a BS in Biomedical Science, Dr. Parkerson earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in January 2004. She currently enjoys practice in primary care and surgery for cats and dogs of all ages. Dr. Parkerson is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist and also holds Advanced Certification in Veterinary Chinese Herbal Medicine through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society.
When not at the office, Dr. Parkerson loves spending time with her family. They are frequently found at the Houston Zoo or visiting friends and family. When Dr. Parkerson is not at the office, she is still working. Last year she accumulated over 100 Board-approved continuing education hours! Her days and nights are dedicated to her family, her patients, their owners, and her staff. As much as she sincerely appreciates her relationships, she might take a break to ski every now and then.
Dr. Caroline Frank
Veterinarian
Dr. Frank is a native Houstonian, and her family has been bringing their pets to Tanglewilde Vet Clinic for the last 20 years. Dr. Frank attended St. George’s University College of Veterinary Medicine and finished her clinical rotations at the University of Missouri.
She may seem like a familiar face since, while she was in undergraduate school at Texas Tech University and veterinary school, she was part of the Tanglewilde Technical Staff. Dr. Parkerson is proud to continue mentoring Dr. Frank’s professional development and is happy to have her as part of the team.
Dr. Frank’s interests include preventive care, dentistry, surgery, and internal medicine. When she is not caring for your pets, she loves spending time with her family and her own two long-haired dachshunds. She also enjoys horseback riding and running.
